Assistive Technology is an alternative that aims to promote, through artifacts and services, better quality of life and independence for Persons with Disabilities. This study aims to carry out a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that addresses the development of design methodologies focusing on the generation of Assistive Technology and its contributions to users. The selected articles indicate that there is little – or no – concern on the part of designers to insert the user throughout the product development process. The content of the studies made it possible to obtain an overview of the methodologies developed so far, their common points, their singularities, and opportunities for future action.</p>}, number={4}, journal={DAT Journal}, author={Andrade, Allisson José Fernandes de and Aquino, Ana Carolina Generoso De and Paschoarelli, Luis Carlos and Medola, Fausto Orsi}, year={2021}, month={Dec.}, pages={236–254} }
