A reflection on the design of exhibitions and the model of amusement parks

This article compares the characteristics of current exhibitions-show developed under the exhibition design paradigm and the model established by amusement parks. To this end, important historical moments will be punctuated from studies by Tony Bennett and Sonia Salcedo Del Castillo to understand characteristics such as the popularization of exhibitions, the relationship between exhibitions and museums, in addition to the definitions of the qualities of fairs and amusement parks. Finally, taking considerations based on the issues raised by the research, will be presented a description and analysis of the exhibition “Leonardo Da Vinci - 500 years of a genius” at MIS Experience in São Paulo, 2019.
