The Postgraduate Program in Design was created in 2014 in Recife’s innovation ecosystem, Porto Digital. In line with CESAR’s (Center for Advanced Studies and Systems of Recife) mission, the Professional Master’s in Design has as its main objective to enable a solid formation of professors, researchers and high-level professionals focused on technological, scientific and cultural development, especially within the regional environment in which it is inserted, considering an inseparable and decisive contemporary society in terms of guiding social, technological and cultural relations linked to Design in general. The professional and academic training offered is based on scientific and technological aspects suited to the market reality, through the full acquisition of applied knowledge, making students able to specify, develop, implement and evaluate projects aimed at solving problems of a diverse nature. through physical or digital artifacts, various services, among other formats. In addition, the objective is to deepen the competences, towards practical and technical issues of scientific investigation in the scope of Design, always focused on social insertion.
